Thank you for your willingness and interest in volunteering at the Walla Walla City Church! We consider child safety very important, thus the need for all volunteers to take a child protection course and authorize a background check. These background checks are overseen by the Upper Columbia Conference Office (our regional headquarters) in Spokane, WA.
To begin the process, sign into your account at www.ncsrisk.org or create a new one if you don’t have one already.
Please note that you will need emails, physical addresses, and phone numbers for four references, including a mandatory reporter such as a pastor or other professional. The online training typically takes an hour to complete. Be sure to give permission to conduct the background check at the end.
